Tatjana Zivanovic-Wegele | piano, composition, producing
The classical pianist, composer and producer Tatjana Zivanovic-Wegele studied music at the University of music and perfoming arts in Graz / Austria with Prof. Alexandr Satz / Gnesin academy of Music Moskow / Russia with diploma. During her education, she participated at the workshops and worked with Slavush Gadjiev, Alexandr Nasedkin, Lew Nikolajewitsch Naumow, Arbo Valdma, Lidija Stankovic, Marcelo Faldini.
During her education, she was interpreter for Bach, Beethoven, Schumann, Prokofijev and Schostakowitch, what beside influences from her homeland Serbia and music of her generation, influences her music. She is combining the pop expressions of ´70 and ´80 with classical music.
Now she is experimenting with live composing performances, how to express visual, fine and perfoming arts with music and how to make a perfect bond with.
“Today we cannot pigeonhole the Arts any more. What really exists is a synthesis of all arts. An alliance of energies we can last to live or condemned to die. It is our choice. We can of course continue making love with that very old person, like Miles Davis once said, wondering himself about musicians playing music he played ages before. It is safe but is it art? I for my self scream - Arts are dead, long live the Art.”
Tatjana Zivanovic-Wegele was performing a numerous concerts and festivals in Europe and participated CD productions as a producer. She is working as composer in her studio ZW MUSIC.
